POV-Ray (mode 3D)
3D photorealistische Darstellungen werden mit POV-Ray generiert (nur sichtbare Elemente). Die folgenden Einstellungen bestimmen Form und Inhalt solcher Darstellungen. Siehe auch 3D-Modus.

Updates
- noise-protection-walls, preliminary/temporary solutions: four user-defined types of noise-protection-walls can be defined (see new configurations in "Einstellungen/Photorealistische Darstellungen"). There are now two ways of using these user-defined types in a project:
- You can choose one of such types for the representation of np-walls; all np-walls in your projects will be represented as being of that type.
- You can change the presentation-method of a 3d-polygon, so as to use one of the types. Notice that this alternative allows you to use more than one wall-type in a single project.
| ❑ | Note: The types defined in Einstellungen/Photorealistische Darstellungen are just examples; you can change those definitions and create your own types, by specifying whatever combination of materials you need. Just keep in mind that a np-wall type is a comma-delimited list of materials (currently available materials: cement, lava cement, glass, wood, aluminium) and their height; for obvious reasons, the height is not needed for the last (highest) element in the list. |
- auto-marking of streets does not mark streets having a width of 2m or less; middle lines are drawn only if the street's width is 5m or more.
- There is a new option to project surface presentation of results on the ground (see DGM options). There is also a new option for presenting receiver-colors on the windows (when using auto-window). See Figure.
- In addition to the sun and indirect lighting, a camera-light can now be used; using such light usually leads to an improved quality (more relief) of parts of the scene that are in shadows.
- house-roofs: you can influence the form of the roof by adding extra points to a house-polygon (after closing it, and inside the closed part); the program will consider those points to generate the roof's triangles. After adding such points, ensure that the very last point is equal to the first point of the element (the program recognizes closed elements by comparing the first and last coordinates!)
- Baumtypen 1-6 mit Bild beschreiben
- nur Baumtyp 1 wird mit der Option "detail vegetation" mit ästen und Blättern nach dem Zufallsprinzip "realistisch" berechnet.
- snow, auto-stone, woods. (1) A new option allows to determine a "snow line" above which snow is used as ground texture instead of grass. (2) When the slope of the ground is very high, a stone texture is used instead of grass/snow. (3) The element wood is now presented as a group of trees. (4) As an alternative, the type 3D-Drawing polygone has now a presentation-method "wood" (you should use this alternative if you only need the wood for visual presentation only). [See Fig.]
- 3D-Drawing Polygons - method "car" (Wagen). Drawing method car ("Wagen") was added. When this method is selected a car is drawn at the beginning of each polygon's segment (segment orientation determines car orientation). H and the actual length of the segment is unimportant for a POV-rendering, but to see at least something in the embedded viewer, you might want to at least provide some reasonable H.
